Project facts: Location: New York, USA · High-Rise Apartment Client: Elena Kowalski Scope: Soft furnishing & space planning Product lines: Furniture & Soft Furnishings · Curtains Supplier: COOBUILD · Foshan Xinhehui International Building Materials
Ms. Elena Kowalski commissioned us to create a multifunctional home that blends simplicity, practicality and comfort — a space that serves daily living, social gatherings and work alike. Guided by the philosophy of "composed yet alive," we delivered a complete soft-furnishing and space-planning scheme.
In the living room, a deep-brown L-shaped leather sofa is paired with an olive-green velvet sofa to set an embracing, generous tone. A minimal round coffee table handles surface needs with crisp, clean lines. The highlight of the space is a white knot-sculpture art stool — its fluid form breaks the calm and becomes the visual focal point. A slatted partition on one side subtly divides the zones, adding depth and a play of light and shadow. Behind it sits an efficient workspace: a black desk with a bright modern chair, injecting energy into the composed setting.
Every window is dressed with a dual-layer curtain system — sheer plus blackout — soft, diffused light by day and quiet privacy by night, with the Manhattan skyline framed as a living picture.

Working with COOBUILD. Foshan Xinhehui International Building Materials was a genuine pleasure. From my veryfirst visit to the showroom, the sales representative impressed me with her professionalism: rather than pushingproducts, she began by understanding howI live, entertain and work then advised me item by item- from thesoft-furnishing palette and furniture dimensions to the blackout rating and drape of each curtain. The pairing of theL-shaped leather sofa with the olive velvet sofa was the result of her careful consideration, and the white knot-sculpture stool was the perfect finishing touch. Every stageorder, production and ocean shipping to New York-came with clear progress updates. The goods arrived perfectly packed, installation went smoothly, and there wasnot a single colour deviation. That kind of professional, reliable, client-first service made me feel completely at easeas a buyer overseas. I look forward to working together again.

A 506 m² three-story villa in Douala, Cameroon: All materials—including wall panels, cabinetry, tiles, bathroom fixtures, doors and windows, lighting, and furniture—were selected at a 15,000 m² showroom in Foshan. The items were shipped in three separate containers; upon arrival at the port, there were zero missing parts and no need for any replacements.
Farai Chipungu, a homeowner from South Africa, travelled to Foshan, China, to source windows, doors, cabinetry and bathroom products for his 1,800 m² private villa in the Republic of Zimbabwe. At the coobuildgroup showroom, sales consultant Shirley helped him compare entrance door styles and coordinate selections across the home. With the windows and doors now installed, the project brings together overseas sourcing and the practical needs of a private residence. For Farai, coobuildgroup’s one st
